"Boy, Kia sure has come a long way!" - so starts just about every lazy Kia review you read today. Well, what were they like before their quality revolution?
MotorWeek tested a '95 Kia Sephia back when it was new. Judging by reviews of the current Kia Cadenza or Optima or whatever, you'd guess that this car would be such a steaming pile of shit that even John Davis would hate it.
Turns out the car doesn't seem to fall terribly below average in any areas. It's a little light on the highway and in hard cornering (doesn't sound so bad to me), but otherwise it's reportedly a solid-feeling 2,586 lbs car.
That said, John Davis can't say how well the car will hold up. Have any of y'all had Sephias? How are they doing now?
