The great thing about buying a modern car is that you have a lot to choose from, and these days, most of them are pretty decent. But what would the world look like if just 100 existed in the entire world?
The folks at Buy Auto Insurance compiled this infographic based on global auto sales. Based on their data, if there were just 100 cars, 23 would be white, 29 would be Japanese, 54 would have manual transmissions (woo!) and 43 would run purely on gasoline. That's interesting, I would have guessed diesel would do better globally.
It's a fascinating infographic, except the result is that the the average car would be... a white Toyota Corolla. Not surprising, but certainly not thrilling, either.
At least it has a stick.
