This is the new Ford S-Max concept, which will debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show and previews the styling for the next generation of production S-Max. More important is where Ford got its inspiration for the interior design.
They looked at a furniture show, reports Autocar.
Well, not just any furniture show — the Milan Furniture Fair. It's the largest trade fair of its kind, apparently, and Ford got its ideas for the dark browns in this concept's interior from the items on display (you can read more about this in the press release).
Ford chose their inspiration wisely, and thankfully they didn't decide to make the interior out of books, or folding razors, or whatever the hell this is.
