Toyota went to race at Le Mans this year for the second round since leaving the series in 1999 and grabbed 2nd and 4th place in the top prototype category against (then only) 11-time champion Audi. And they will be back for more.
As a car nut, it's difficult to ignore Toyota, isn't it? On one hand, it's a company that thinks it's okay to sell cars like the picture perfect/rubbish new Corolla in America in 2013 because people don't care anyway. On the other hand, it's a company that also sells one of the best cars out there, the Scion FR-S, and promises us even more in the future.
And after Peugeot had to abandon its Le Mans project, it was also Toyota who picked up their gloves for the most challenging race of them all. Check out the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans from their point of view:
Can't wait to see them on track against Porsche next year...
