We've heard a few crazy rumors lately that development of LaFerrari, Ferrari's 963 horsepower V12 hybrid hypercar, is lagging behind schedule. Maybe they've just needed more seat time with Formula One drivers before they hand it over to civilians like us.
In this new clip, we get to see Ferrari F1 driver Fernando Alonso and his shorts put a camo'd-out LaFerrari prototype through its paces on what looks like Ferrari's Fiorano Circuit. (I wonder if they told him to put a knife between his teeth when he was behind the wheel?)
The car is sounding pretty good, but I'd love to know what Alonso said to those engineers after he drove it. Sadly, it's all drowned out by electronic music.
I bet he was asking for bigger cupholders.
Hat tip to Jalopnik Brasil!
