In the wilderness of Newfoundland, the local authorities don't screw around when it comes to fire. Even the smallest blaze could spark a massive forest fire. So when an 18-wheeler began to smolder after a crash on the Trans-Labrador Highway, firefighters called in some air support.

This video captures a CL-415 Superscooper water bomber as it dumps hundreds of gallons of flame retardant on the truck wreck, according to The Daily Mail. The crash and subsequent water drop happened on July 29 near Churchill Falls, a tiny town of 650 people.

The newspaper says Shawn Noseworthy, a manager with Humber Valley Paving, was part of a work crew on site when the crash occurred, and he managed to capture the stunning water drop on a cell phone.

I'm guessing that drop put the kibosh on the fire. Go big or go home, right?
