10.) Jeep Wrangler
Who needs sway bars anyway points at the fact that Jeeps are funky little offroaders with a friendly face and chunky tires. What's not to love?
I have all sorts of people from grandma's to young kids wave, take pictures, high five, and start conversations with me, because they love my Jeep.

Even in Europe, if people see a first-gen Mustang, they start smiling. As a non-car person, you might not know what it is, but you feel its greatness.

7.) C2 Corvette
BrtStlnd is spot on, the C2 is an absolute show-stopper, and not just in the US...
In the U.S. anyway, I think the C2 Stingray is a show/parade-stopper. Everyone knows it. If you asked 100 average American non-car people, I bet 80 of them would have no idea what an E-Type is.

6.) Shelby Cobra
Forget the power for a second. If you don't know what's under the hood, all you see is a very cute roadster with a serious attitude. Everybody loves that.

5.) Morgan Three-wheeler
- What's that?
- I have no idea, but I want one.
Seriously, the Morgan Three-Wheeler is a head turner from another dimension. It's even better at this than a funky microcar...

Car nuts like it because it's one of the most beautiful Pininfarina Ferraris ever made. Others like it because of Tom Selleck's mustache.

3.) Volkswagen Beetle
21,529,464 were built, which means everybody has a Beetle story. It's also a design icon looking at you with its two big eyes. Almost impossible to hate.
