Originally spotted by our friends over at RideApart, the Castrol Rocket is powered by two 2.3-liter Triumph Rocket III engines, and aims to break the 400 mile per hour barrier. The current world speed record for a wheel-powered bike stands at 376.156 MPH, set by Rocky Duke.

Former MotoGP racer Jason Di Salvo is the brave soul who will attempt to break the mark. The bike has been testing this week at the Bonneville Salt Flats, which means there's even less traction than on traditional asphalt.
