Welcome to Sunday Matinee, where we highlight classic car reviews or other longer videos I find on YouTube. Kick back and enjoy this blast from the past.
Top Gear may be wildly popular nowadays, with its 21st season about to start this winter, but it got off to a bit of a slow start. The studio audience was tiny, the budget was even smaller, and there was no James May but there was some guy named Jason Dawe hanging around.
You can see a lot of potential in it, though, and why not? It's a show about cars! It's a subject matter I always find highly appealing. It's a good thing, then, that we've got all the best parts of the very first season of the show all in this one handy-dandy clip.
