At the bottom of the price ladder we have the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51, which practically needs no introduction at this point. With 460 horsepower, it's a bargain at $70,000 as tested.
Then you have the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. Yes, rear-wheel drive is probably more fun, but no one can deny how good modern all-wheel drive Porsches are. With 400 horsepower, it comes in at $151,000.
And then way up top we have the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, which looks and sounds astoundingly great. Its V12 is the killer here with 731 horsepower, but its price tag — $434,144 — puts it far out of the reach of ordinary human beings. MotorTrend says it packs "the very best engine currently on sale today." Can they back up such a bold claim?
