As our intrepid European Correspondent Mate Petrany did earlier this year, the folks at MotorWeek took VW's supposedly 261 mpg futurecar for a spin around Wolfsburg, Germany and the Autobahn. They managed 147 miles per gallon on their trip.
"I have driven the future, and it is good," Brian Robinson says, adding that you can get it up to speed "fast enough." Sweet!
