Wagons are fantastic, we all know that. But which one makes you scream shout up and take my money the most?
The one above is a Renault Safrane Biturbo turned into the Long Cours estate concept by Heuliez. It had a 3.0-litre V6 from an Alpine A610 producing 362 horses, linked to a six-speed manual and an all-wheel drive system. While everybody wanted V8s and automatics in the segment, Renault still managed to sell 802 Safrane Biturbos before production ended in 1996. The wagon however remained a one-off, so nobody could buy it.
