Ford is moving production of its F-65o and F-750 commercial trucks from Mexico to the United States when production commences on the bodystyle, slated for early 2015. Truck yeah, 'Murica!

Ford says they're making a $168 million investment in retooling the Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake near Cleveland, which is currently churning out the last run of E-Series vans and a few other commercial vehicles.

E-Series cutaways (face of a van with a box, camper, or U-Haul type setup on the back) will actually continue throughout "most of the decade." But the 2015 Transit, built in Kansas City, will start replacing the E-Series Passenger and Cargo soon.

"Shifting production of the 2016 Ford F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks to Ohio Assembly Plant helps secure a solid future for the dedicated workers at this facility," said Ford President Joe Hinrichs.

The move is part of the collective bargaining agreement between Ford and the United Auto Workers negotiated in 2011.

The new big ass F-Series trucks are scheduled to start selling in spring of next year.
