Fiat has done it this time. The limited-edition Abarth 695 Biposto is a 500 Carlo Abarth would be proud of, the ultimate hot hatch that can tear your face off.
This 500 is simply nuts. Two Sabelt seats, a dry weight of 997 kilos (2,198 pounds), 190 horsepower from a 1.4 turbo, 184 foot pounds and a top speed of 142 mph. It's also the only street-legal car with a dog-ring gearbox, a mechanical masterpiece by Bacci Romano accompanied by a racing clutch and a self-locking differential.
The exhausts are made of titanium, the brakes are ventilated Brembos with four-piston calipers, the wheels are light 18" O.Z.s, the shocks are heavy duty of course, there's a titanium rollbar and the windows are polycarbonate just to remind you where you are.
There can also be as much carbon fiber as you wish, a full body kit that hides a bigger intercooler and a data logger to record your achievements anywhere you happen to hoon it.
But you don't have to pay for everything. Four trim levels are available, so you can spend anything between a lot of money and a crazy amount of money when buying the first proper Abarth for quite some time now.
A very special little car indeed, but please make sure you change the seat belt anchor points the moment you got it.
