To me, the Lotus Exige has always been kind of like Michael Jackson in the "Bad" video. You know how other sports cars act like they're so pure and hardcore? The Exige has always been here to tell them "You ain't BAD! You ain't NOTHIN'!"
Our pals at XCAR seem to agree with this. See, the Exige S is about as pure as you can get. Spartan interior, no roof, a supercharged V6 with 345 horsepower, a zero to 60 mph time of just 3.8 seconds, and... well, not much else.
Even so, XCAR's Alex Goy says this Exige S isn't quite a dedicated track car. It's more of a road car, albeit one that's more diehard in its sporting role than most, and it still puts other roadsters to shame.
But hey, don't take my word for it. Watch the video. You might end up wanting an Exige S after it's over.
