Archer is usually pretty awesome with its car casting, and this week's episode was no exception. However, the scene above had a little error that bothered me. If it were almost any other small Japanese car, it wouldn't be so glaring, but the AE86 has the popularity and reputation it does because of its rear-wheel drive.
It doesn't come close to the kinds of gearhead-irking errors that many movies and TV shows often make, however. Why does every dirt bike sound like a two-stroke, every sportbike sound like an inline-four, and why is every column-shifted automatic car driven while in the "Park" position?
