The demonry known as the "electric car" has now infiltrated all of our great and proud country: There is at least one Tesla Model S in every single state in our proud union.
The 50 state infiltration ended with a recent registration in Jackson, Mississippi. As Edmunds notes, Mississippi was the last state without a Tesla for at least eight months, so it was just a matter of time until one made it into the state.
That means Tesla has taken just 18 months to enter all 50 states, while the Nissan Leaf took a full 23 months. It's not a surprise that it takes longer for an electric car to enter certain markets as there is still an aversion to the new tech in much of the country.
Now let's see how long it takes for a second Model S to be registered in Mississippi.
