A police safety camera van recorded a British driver for thirty seconds driving on the highway with his hands behind his head. For that, he has been arrested.
The BBC reports that 36-year-old Richard Newton was recently found guilty of dangerous driving. Newton argued that he was in control of the vehicle.
According to the North Yorkshire Police, his punishment is 100 hours of community service and a £625 ($1040) fine with a £60 ($98) surcharge.
Here is the video in question. Does it look like it was worth arresting someone for this?
