The replacement for the Lamborghini Gallardo is on the way, that we know for sure. The rumor mill is still running at full steam, though, and the latest is that the new little Lambo will not be called the Cabrera, as previously heard, but the Huracán, if Auto Express is to be believed.
The reality of a Lamborghini Huracán (which means "hurricane" in Spanish, because Lamborghini) is within the realm of possibility, as the OG of ridiculous Italian crazycar companies registered the names of Urus, Deimos, and Huracán back in April of 2012. So far the intense Lamborghini Urus is a real thing, as it's headed to production in SUV form in 2017, so that leaves the other two monikers still available, along with the still-mentioned Cabrera.
I really don't care what they call it, just between us friends here. It's going to be ridiculously fast and ridiculously loud and it's going to be a Lamborghini. No complaints there.
