It turns out there were people who looked at the ultra extreme, four-off, $4.6 million Lamborghini Veneno from earlier this year and said "Um, that's nice… but what else ya got?"

This sent the mad scientists of Sant'Agata back to the drawing board, where they came up with this: the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, an open-top monster of a car that costs a slightly more exclusive $5.3 million. Low-res shots of the roofless Veneno leaked out last night.

No, it's literally roofless. It's not a convertible. There is no roof. If it starts to rain when you're out driving in it, you'll have to pop an umbrella or just drive faster. With a 6.5-liter, 740 horsepower V12 behind you, that shouldn't be too hard.

Top Gear says that the Veneno Roadster, named after a bull that once gored its matador to death in 1914 (That's encouraging!), will be slightly less exclusive than its roofed brother. A grand total of nine will be made, and they can be spec'd in any color you want.

I think I'm gonna get two.
