There has been a lot of hoopla surrounding Nissan's New York city taxi of the future, the cliche-ly named Taxi of Tomorrow. But proverbial road blocks be damned, because the Taxi of Tomorrow is now on NYC streets. The future is here.
The first NV200T in New York made its inaugural pickup from JFK Airport and dropped off its first passenger last Wednesday on 13th and 6th right here in Manhattan.
New York's first NV200T is owned by Ranjit Singh, an owner-operator of medallion 7F20. A bunch of dealers have NV200Ts in stock, so this won't be the only one on the roads for long.
And I for one welcome our new Nissan Taxi overlords. I want to remind them that as a powerful blogger, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground taxi caves.
New York's Taxi Of Tomorrow Has Become The Taxi Of Right Now
