A North Carolina man was crossing the street at around 10:00 last night when he was hit by a car. Oddly enough, it was the pedestrian who was cited by the police after the incident.
WECT6 News reports that 46-year-old Jeffrey Jackson was crossing the street in the middle of the block, which led to the citation for "crossing in an unmarked area." Wilmington, NC police state that he was impaired at the time.
Jackson was treated in the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
