There's a growing trend to host concours events at a golf course, following the lead of the highly respected shows at Pebble Beach and Amelia Island. For example, Pinehurst, North Carolina, held it's inaugural show this summer on a golf course and on November 3, the popular
Hilton Head Concours d'Elegance moves to green fairways in South Carolina. While some high-end car shows frequent fancy venues, others opt for public or readily accessible locations, such as the Boston Cub Classic where show cars park on the turf of Boston Common (below).
Or the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where you can see the
Celebration of Automobiles on Opening Day of the Indy 500 practice sessions. You can see the classic street and race cars, then catch an occasional practice lap and roam the garage area.

Coffee and Cars OKC. This Saturday morning show in Oklahoma City is one of dozens of similarly themed informal cruise-ins popping up in the US, Canada, and Europe. Owners of all ages bring cars of all ages to these popular shows usually lasting only 3 or 4 hours. The C & C shows go by the name of Cars and Coffee or Coffee and Cars, but all are patterned after the ones originating in Atlanta (2001) and Orange County, California (2003).
Coffee and Cars at Cincinnati’s Fuel Coffee differs from the typical shopping center parking lots in that the site is a former gas station. Professionally produced videos from this and other venues can be viewed at
