For months, space entrepreneur Elon Musk has been teasing fans with hints about his next big project, a "hyperloop" super train that would get people from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 30 minutes. Now, Musk says that this schematic is the "closest" anyone has gotten to guessing how the hyperloop would work.
Via his Twitter account, engineer John Gardi published this stab at what he thought the hyperloop might look like. When he tweeted it to Musk, the entrepreneur replied, "Your guess is the closest I've seen anyone guess so far."

What is the Hyperloop? So far Musk hasn’t gotten very specific, though he once called it “a cross between a Concorde and a railgun and an air hockey table.” But we’ll soon find out more. On Monday, Musk tweeted that he will publish an “alpha design” for the Hyperloop by Aug. 12. Responding to questions on Twitter, he indicated that the plans would be open-source, and that he would consider a partnership with someone who shared his vision.
Sounds like it's time that Musk interviewed Gardi for a job.
