Richie Incognito On Beating Up His Car: "That Was Just Me Venting." S

Richie Incognito hadn't spoken to the media since taking a baseball bat to his $300,000 Ferrari, or indeed since the release of the investigation into the Miami locker room scandal. Maybe that's only because no one tried? A Phoenix TV station just showed up at his Scottsdale house and he was more then happy to invite them in and talk about busting up his car.

When a reporter and cameraman from Fox Phoenix arrived unannounced, Incognito couldn't have been nicer, telling them, "Hi, its all right, come on my property..come on, it's safe." In the interview, which can be viewed here, Incognito sort-of explained about the Ferrari:

"Oh that was that was just me venting, that was my self-expression, that's a piece of art. The happiest day of my life was when I got that car and now the second happiest day will be when I donate it to charity."

That doesn't clarify what Incognito was mad about, though it could be any number of things. His parents are currently going through a divorce, and the free agent will likely face NFL discipline stemming from the Ted Wells report—if he catches on with another team. Incognito said multiple times he wants to "move on."

"Me and my dad, my mom, my brother, Jonathan Martin, the Miami Dolphins, Stephen Ross, you, we're all brothers and sisters. I think we all understand that it's just time to move on. Words were said, things were done, but at the end of the day we're all brothers and sisters and we're here to lift each other up."
