However diminished, there's still a market for big SUVs like the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe. Those buyers, however, will need to pony up some more money for the redesigned 2015 versions.
Automotive News reports the 2015s will cost roughly $1,000 to $3,000 more than their 2014 counterparts when the new SUVs go on sale early next year. The base price of a 2015 Tahoe goes up to $45,595, based on order guides they obtained. That's a $1,000 bump.
If you're going to be in the market for one of the leather-lined, chromed-up Suburban LTZ 4WD versions, Automotive News says you should be prepared to pay $65,595 before options – that's $3,300 more than a comparable 2014 Suburban.
So, small-but-vocal group of people who want a new Suburban or Tahoe and aren't regularly transporting businessmen or government officials, save up.
