Photos have appeared from Seoul of a vehicle that could be nothing but the 2015 Hyundai Genesis — a decidedly handsome premium sedan aimed straight at ze German competitors.
This isn't the first we're seeing of the design, but there are have been some tweaks since Hyundai released renderings last month. The headlights are a bit less extreme, and the overall raking is slightly less severe.
The front reminds me of a bit of a Maxima, but that grille is new-Audiesque and fantastic.
Bloomberg reports that 500 billion won ($472 million) was spent developing the car, with South Korean retail prices between $44,000 and $66,000 (or 46.6-69.9 million won, locally). As before, 3.8-liter and 5-liter engines will be available, plus a HUD, larger interior, and more gadgets than the outgoing model.
