The October 2013 issue of Road & Track is momentous in a way. It is home to Peter Egan's final monthly Side Glances column. Peter wants to slow things down a bit, and he's not leaving us. He remains our editor-at-large and he'll contribute features to the mag. But his monthly visits—those columns that, for the last 30 years, made so many of us want to be a part of this thing—wind down with this one.
