Since his horrific ski accident on December 29th, doctors in Grenoble, France, have kept Michael Schumacher in a medically induced coma to help his brain deal with the injuries. And now, one month later, they are set to start the long process of ending that coma.
The official word from Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, is that Michael's sedation is slowly being reduced in order to begin the waking up process, which she also says may "take a long time." What she means by "long time" we don't know just yet.
As before, any other reports that don't come directly from Schumacher's team are bunk and should be ignored. Just yesterday there were reports that this process was being delayed, so it goes to show just how important proper information is. The family is also asking for privacy, which should be respected.
