The 1000-horsepower, 2381-pound Lotec Mercedes-Benz C1000 was commissioned as a one-off by a UAE businessman at a cost of $3.5 million. A twin-turbo 5.6 liter Mercedes-Benz V8 pushes the car through a Hewland 6-speed transmission to a claimed top speed of 268 MPH.
The exhaust note is described as "breathtaking."
The vehicle turned up a few years ago in North Carolina and is now going to be auctioned with another Mercedes I didn't realize existed— a CLK GTR roadster.
RK expects the C1000 to bring $1-1.3 million, with further details on their listing page.
