Next to the exhibited twenty custom vehicles, there will be hundreds of Mopar performance parts and Jeep accessories from the off-road division. Chrysler doesn't always build the best car in any particular class, but damned if they don't offer the most factory parts for their cars.
Highlights include a Dodge Ram pickup for surfers, a Fiat 500L for people who are afraid of pavement (not the band), a Jeep Cherokee for Jeep Cherokee enthusiasts and a Chrysler 300 for Detroit gangsters.
Ram "Sun Chaser"
This Ram 1500 Quad Cab comes with a surf rack, side rail hooks for even more surfboards, a water tank equipped with a hose and a portable shower head to wash down the salt after surfing, and a seatback tailgate which converts into a bench by folding back toward the cab of the truck for tired surfers. The paint is called "Vibrance Orange Blast" and the tow hooks are also painted orange, which doesn't sound practical at all.
The 2-inch performance lift kit and a 5.7-liter HEMI with cat-back exhaust makes sure you don't get stuck chasing the sun.
Fiat 500L "Adventurer"
More ground clearance and more orange accents. There are all-weather floor mats and a coat hanger inside, so it must be tough.
Jeep Cherokee "Trail Carver"
This is Chrysler trying to convince you that the new Cherokee is a proper Jeep. It comes with the Trailhawk 4x4 package powered by a 3.2-liter V6. There's a roof basket with orange accent side panels wrapped in woven metallic fabric. Off-road tires and rock rails complete the outside look.
Inside leather seats and leather wrapped steering wheel, center console, storage door and armrest provide a premium feel, with a wireless smartphone charger and WiFi.
Chrysler 300S
It's, ugh, pimped. With 'Imported From Detroit' logos.
They will also have a Dodge Durango, but didn't tell us what's special about it. So, take a guess:
